Our process
How we soft wash
Chemical mix
We set the mix based on the surface and the amount of organic growth.
Prep
We tape off any exposed outlets or exterior wires that could be damaged, then pre-soak your plants and the surface.
Apply the mix
A soft application of the mix from the ground. Then we let it dwell.
Post rinse
We rinse off all of the mix and everything it took with it, and rinse down your plants again at the end.

Soft washing questions
What chemicals are you using?
The mix is sodium hypochlorite, mixed with water to dilute it to anywhere from 1% to 4.5%, plus a surfactant that helps it all mix. We set the mix based on the surface and the amount of organic growth.
Will the chemicals harm my plants or anything else?
No. Everything is pre-soaked and post-soaked with water, ensuring that the chemicals don't cause any damage. We also tape off any exposed outlets and exterior wires before we start.
Why soft wash instead of pressure wash?
Delicate exterior surfaces can be damaged by high-pressure water. A soft wash is a low-pressure application, and the mix does the cleaning.
What surfaces do you soft wash?
Siding, roofs, gutters and soffits, and all exterior siding, even brick and limestone.
Do plan members save on soft washing?
Yes! Soft washing is an add-on service, so maintenance plan members save 10%, 15%, or 20%, depending on the plan. See the plans.
